Builder has been renamed to Kent. This is the migration-only Builder 2.0 build that helps existing Builder users move to Kent. It does not start a server or run agents.

This isn't a real release, but a migration helper binary intended to help existing users move to Kent. Do not download it as a new user.

How to migrate

  1. Stop all Builder activity (interactive sessions, builder serve, and builder service stop if the background service is installed).
  2. Download this binary for your platform below (or via the install-script notice), then run: builder migrate
  3. Install Kent: brew install respawn-llc/homebrew-tap/kent or repo's install script.
  4. Remove the old builder binary once Kent works.
