- Download images here
- Default image is setup correctly for ttyS0 and console
- network configuration via /etc/network/interfaces file requires ifupdown (e.g., kali uses this). ubuntu server for rpi uses netplan and not ifupdown. to switch it to ifupdown, use the instructions here to switch ubuntu server from netplan back to ifupdown
