Still using the 0.7.0 beta version (Sorry i can't figure out how to install the 0.8.0 version) and so far it is doing what i was looking for a long time (just recognition without the bloatware)
There are two requests i have.
First, is it possible to see the file name (on mouse over for instance). In my original folder i often have the name of the person in the photograph but i can't remember it from memory. Now, when i have to name someone i need to look up the specific folder go to the photo and look up the name. Doing a mouse over and seeing the file name would help a lot.
Secondly, could it be made so that (right) clicking on the picture takes me to that folder? Or better yet, let's me copy the original file to, say an email. When i get requests to send or post a certain picture i have to go to a folder location i only know roughly where it is. I had hoped that having the people by name would help me get to specific photos of them quicker.

First of all, I would like to thank you for using the app. When I released it publicly, I wasn't expecting real world usage as it was just something I had made to keep tracks of my photos.

Please note: The 0.8.0.Beta is not out yet, I am done with the development cycle and am grinding it through internal test scenarios. It will be available for download on 17th June, 2026. Updated the README to reflect this for now.

You can download, report a bug, request features or see the progress of the development for each release cycle on the new website felicity-app.com

Coming to your features:

They are both implemented in a way in the upcoming release, not exactly how you describe it, but close.

There is a details panel that can be toggled on from the settings. On full screen preview it shows the path of the photo and other details.

As for going to the folder, I can only accommodate one change since the release date is so close. I can add a button on the full screen preview, near the one that opens the image in default photo viewer, to open file explorer with that photo selected.

@mrezeuss The function has been implemented. Now you can right click on a grid thumbnail and open the image in file explorer. It will open the folder with the image selected.

Thanks so very much for your quick response and action. Because i am not that handy with installing the repository, i'll wait until version 0.8.0 comes as an executable. But thanks very much in advance for implementing this functionality.

If you ever wish to get more features, please feel free to drop in a request on the website. I have added this functionality on the website so it does not require users to have a github account. Hope 0.8.0 beta helps out with added features.
