0.9.0-alpha.2
Fixed
- Fixed Pulse day-scope handling so the current day is now included as a partial-day window (
start of day -> now) instead of behaving like a fully completed 24-hour period. - Added a small guard against zero-length Pulse day windows around local midnight rollover.
- Improved sleep heart-rate fallback behavior on Android / Health Connect setups by deriving sleep HR from the general heart-rate stream when strict sleep-session-linked heart-rate samples are unavailable.
- Improved robustness for vendor/device combinations such as Xiaomi Band setups where valid heart-rate samples may exist but are not reliably linked to sleep-session records.
Changed
- Sleep heart-rate fallback now intersects general heart-rate samples with imported sleep-session time windows and remaps matched samples to the corresponding sleep session before use.
- The fallback path is still conservative: strict session-linked sleep HR remains preferred, and derived-by-window HR is only used when that stricter result is empty.
Internal
- Added focused regression tests for:
- Pulse current-day partial-window behavior
- Health Connect sleep-HR derivation from general HR samples filtered by sleep windows
Notes
- This release is a targeted reliability follow-up to
0.9.0-alpha.1. - Real-device validation remains especially important for Xiaomi Band / Health Connect combinations and for edge cases such as overlapping or adjacent sleep sessions.
What's Changed
- Pulse: include partial “today” window + derive sleep HR from canonical HR stream in Health Connect fallback by @Copilot in #304
