It can be reproduced with "GOLD BioAge and depression- Associations with mortality among depressed NHANES participants (2005–2018).pdf" and "Journal of Periodontology - 2015 - Eke - Update on Prevalence of Periodontitis in Adults in the United States NHANES 2009.pdf"
it looks like it captures something non-table text.

Thanks - the first one is just a really horrible way to render Table 1, it breaks almost every convention that people use. But I am working on it. I will test the second one shortly.

and the mdpi one - the problem is that their Table 1 is not a standard epi table 1, that comes in Table 2....

ughh - getting anywhere on this has been hours and hours of work....but progress is coming slowly. I needed to develop a much better set of data structures to handle multi-column headers...should have a working model by this morning
