Should fix #42
Do not merge without regression testing. I wasn't able to adequately test all scenarios as I had trouble setting up the test environment.
This should add ECS compatibility for the pull request I opened yesterday. I was only able to do limited testing as I am not great in writing go and don't have a project I can easily test it with.
