Config file not effective after nixos-rebuild

It's seems that overriding .config/hyde/config.toml, with something like this, is not effective after a nixos-rebuild.

home.file.".config/hyde/config.toml" = {
  source = lib.mkForce (pkgs.writeText "config.toml" ''
    # Configuration file for HyDE
    # Environment variables should be on top
    # Updated config.toml file can be found at $HOME/.local/share/hyde/config.toml

    [brightness]
    notify = false

    [volume]
    notify = false
  '');
  force = true;
};

• hydectl reload don't seems to load the file,
• the only way I found, is to run hydectl config and open/close the file. This seems to run post-hook that correctly use the config file.

Is there a way to fix this behavior, or is it more of an issue related to HyDE ?

yeah this is more hyde related, if there was a way to trigger hyde-ipc to see the file changed you could add it to the onChange option in home.file
