What's new in v1.4.9

A bug-fix release focused on Codex and Qwen.

Codex

  • Finished cards now show the reply. The bridge wasn't reading Codex's assistant_message, so finishes came up blank. In plan mode the reply is pulled from Codex's session transcript and rendered as markdown.
  • No more raw {"suggestions":…} JSON. Codex's follow-up suggestions are no longer mistaken for the reply (and no longer pop a duplicate card).
  • Fixed "1 chat → 6 notifications." All hook installers now strip duplicate Code Island entries and keep exactly one — self-healing on launch.

Qwen

  • ask_user_question opens the proper question window in the notch instead of a generic permission card, with an "Answer in terminal" button that redirects to Qwen's own dialog. (Qwen collects answers only in its CLI — there's no hook path to answer in-notch the way Claude allows.)

Install

  1. Download Code-Island-1.4.9.dmg below, open it, drag Code Island to Applications.
  2. Unsigned build — clear the quarantine flag first: 
    xattr -cr "/Applications/Code Island.app"
  3. Launch — hooks auto-install for every detected agent.
