🚀 ScoutOps Android: Second Pre-Release Update

I'm excited to share the second pre-release update of the ScoutOps Android app! This release brings some important new features and enhancements to improve your scouting experience.

🌟 New Features:

  • Pit Recording Support: You can now record pit data directly within the app. This feature allows you to gather detailed information about the robots and teams from the pit area.

  • Team Display: The app now displays all the teams participating in a particular event. This makes it easier to keep track of teams and organize your scouting activities.

  • Team Search: Quickly find the team you want to record by using the new search functionality. No more scrolling through long lists—just type in the team number or name to get started.

  • Pit Recording Workflow: Pit recording will only be enabled if the match is first loaded via the settings. This ensures that you have the necessary match data before starting the pit scouting process.

🚧 Work in Progress:

  • Further Enhancements to Pit Recording: We are continuously working on improving the pit recording feature, including better data organization and more customization options.

🚀 Getting Started:

  1. Loading a Match:

    • Before starting pit recording, navigate to the settings and load the match using the event key. This is a crucial step to enable pit recording.

  2. Using the Team Display and Search:

    • Once the match is loaded, view the list of teams or use the search function to find a specific team. Start recording pit data directly from the team's page.
