This rebases cleanly onto the latest main and keeps only the desktop build-artifact cleanup that was still unique to this branch. It fixes the root .gitignore entries to ignore foundry/packages/desktop/frontend-dist and foundry/packages/desktop/src-tauri/sidecars, then removes the already-tracked generated files from git. No tests were run for this repository-cleanup change.
