Annotate a drift code block with target: alias:/path and compare your
documented config against the real file on a server — read-only, over SFTP.

  • Check drift: inline line-by-line diff with a status badge
  • Snapshot from server: capture the current remote file as a baseline
  • Server profiles (alias → host / user / key); credentials never in notes
  • SSH host key verification (trust on first use, with manual pinning)
  • Optional ignore rules for whitespace and comment-only lines

Desktop only. Read-only by design: no remote command is ever executed.
