Can anyone explain to me why it's been impossible to post images to a public channel for a few days now? Is there an alternative?

Hi @EspertoMagento — posting media (or text) to channels / @newsletter is only supported by the Baileys engine, not whatsapp-web.js. whatsapp-web.js drives a real Chromium against WhatsApp Web, and the web client doesn't expose channel publishing, so there's no WWEBJS_WEB_VERSION value that will unlock it — sorry about that.

To post to a channel, switch that session to WHATSAPP_ENGINE=baileys and use the channel endpoints under /api/sessions/{sessionId}/channels/....

I'm working on a capability matrix per engine so this is less of a guessing game — I'll link it here once it's published.

I solved it, using the fix found here [https://github.com/wwebjs/whatsapp-web.js/issues/201823]
I also tried using Baileys but it was as if the channel APIs with that were not enabled.
