How to Contribute Translations

Prerequisites

• Basic familiarity with GitHub (creating pull requests).
• The language you want to translate to.

Take the Localizable.xcstrings files from this repository and import it into one of these tools: xcstrings editor. Return strings catalog file with changes to me.

Hi @rokartur, I just downloaded the translation file and I can't find how to add a new language. Am I missing something? It's the first time I've worked with this type of file.

I see that this app doesn't support adding languages. Tomorrow evening my time, around 8–9 p.m. (I'm about 4–5 hours ahead of you, I think). I'll post a link here to an online tool I'm also developing for translations, and you'll be able to add languages there. I just need to make a few minor adjustments.

Hi, nice to meet you. I’ve just updated the translation file for macOS. For translations, I recommend using my web app at https://xcstrings.rokartur.com. Everything is saved locally, so you can come back to it later. Here you can easily add the language you want:
