I'm Georges-Antoine (@gantoine), lead developer of RomM. I'm posting this on behalf of the RomM team.
This confirms that @ilyas-hallak has the RomM team's permission to:
@ilyas-hallak develops and maintains the app independently. Its source has been public on GitHub since August 2025, and it isn't a fork of another project. It connects to a RomM server that the user hosts themselves, using RomM's public API. It's listed among the community clients in our README.
RomM's API is open, so several independent developers build clients for it. They share a general concept, but they're separate works by separate authors.
Neither RomM nor this app distributes games or ROMs.
