This does not make sense on the Support page.

If you want to promote Nextcloud more, there's a section at the end of About or at the end of Download pages, that would make more sense.

I'm fine with this, but @peterwebdesign are you sure that you want to publish that screenshot with all the personal names, email addresses etc. in it?

you're right. I've updated the PR, adding the promo sections on About and Download pages.

@pabzm the image should be fine. It is already published on https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/mail_roundcube

@peterwebdesign On the "Download" page the new section sits under the headline "Plugins and skins", which kind of works. But on the "About" page it sits under "License", which I find a bit awkward (see screenshots below). I would suggest to move it below the next headline "Services using and supporting Roundcube". What do you think about that?

thanks for the feedback, it makes sense. I moved it at the bottom of the "Services Using and Supporting Roundcube" page

Why don't you use the existing page structure and insist on using this screenshot? It looks like an external advertisement, which I don't agree to. For example, on the About page there are already two boxes for KolabNow and HostingU2. You should just add another one for Nextcloud.

ps. the image file can be optimized with e.g. https://tinypng.com/.

I suppose we can also do the opposite and modify existing boxes to look similar to your additions.

I played around a little bit and tried to find a compromise. It's less visually appealing but integrates more into the current style. We could change the style for all the boxes in a second step after this.

@alecpl @peterwebdesign Could you both agree to this? Then I'd post an PR with my changes.

The distinction to intergrations and complete email server packages does not make sense. They are all intergrations.

The Nextcloud app only embeds a standalone Roundcube into the Nextcloud interface, so it's doing something else than the "packages", so from that perspective I do think it makes sense.

We want to link that Nextcloud app, including a screenshot. Do you have a constructive suggestion how to do it?

I just merged #72, which has the state of my latest shown compromise, building on your work, @peterwebdesign.

This doesn't mean we can't further change the pages, but I wanted to get out of this stale situation.

Thus I'm closing this.
