Download the mod and put it in mods/ folder just like any other mods, and you're all set.
For users with CPU architecture other than Windows/Linux x64 and macOS x64/arm64, you should build the native lib in https://github.com/rrtt217/glfw/tree/tev and put the native lib in libraries// in the mod jar.
For Fabric users, HDR mod should take effect in the first launch. For (Neo)Forge users, the game will crash on the first launch to do some settings, the following launches should be successful.
If the Mojang logo turns to light pink to red instead of full white in vanilla, it means that HDR Mod is probably working correctly. You can then put supported shaderpacks in shaderpacks/ folder and load them to activate actual HDR.
