Conversion problem

I am testing out your library and it is working great on some sample FDX to Fountain conversions.
I have run into a problem though - some of the scripts have odd formatting in the fdx:

      <Text>The </Text>
      <Text AdornmentStyle="-1">Narrator</Text>
      <Text> (V.O.)</Text>
    </Paragraph>
<Paragraph Type="Dialogue">
      <Text>Our story starts...</Text>
    </Paragraph>

When I manually import this into trelby.org and export as fountain I get:

THE NARATOR (V.O.)
Our story starts...

But through scriptool we have extra line breaks that mess with the formatting:

THE 
NARATOR
 (V.O.)
Our story starts...
