Cannot close windows or quit on Linux

I just discovered Vingester and took it for a spin. When using one of the demo projects, the videos play in separate bordlerless windows, which cannot be closed. Also, Vingester will not quit via any other means than sendining it SIGHUB signal. 

These beahviours were observed on Ubuntu 24.04 and Bazzite.
