Description
I am wondering about the calculation of annual average evaporative fraction and albedo.
It seems like these values are calculated using the annual means of the numerator and denominator for the equations.
For example for albedo, there is an albedo equation (i.e. rsus/rsds, with a masking for rsds values below 10.0 W/m2). This seems to be calculated for the raw data, but then for mean albedo, the annual means for rsus and rsds are used.
The same is true for evaporative fraction..
Is my reading of the code correct? If so, I was wondering why this was chosen. Why not take the time-integrated mean of the calculated albedo/ef?
