Nowadays browsers automatically upgrade to https, and search engines also prioritizes HTTPS status. Removing insecure <link>, <iframe>, <script> and XHRs to resolve mixed content status in past websites. Most functions depending on these links no longer work.

- Google Maps: Embedding now requires a API key and it is paid
- Freenode Webchat: no longer available as is
pipes.yahoo.com no longer exists.
but it does not exist anymore. however, this is easier way to supress
mixed content warnings happening within minified js.
