gem install or update failed

Hi,

I'm having a problem with installing or update

The error messages are the same as following. I tried on both Windows, Mac and Linux. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

$gem update --system 2.4.8 --no-document
ERROR: While executing gem ... (Gem::RemoteFetcher::FetchError)
Errno::ECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer - SSL_connect (https://api.rubygems.org/specs.4.8.gz)

OR

$gem update --system
ERROR: While executing gem ... (Gem::RemoteFetcher::FetchError)
Errno::ECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer - SSL_connect (https://api.rubygems.org/specs.4.8.gz)

OR

$gem install nsrr --no-document
ERROR: Could not find a valid gem 'nsrr' (>= 0), here is why:
Unable to download data from https://rubygems.org/ - Errno::ECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer - SSL_connect (https://api.rubygems.org/specs.4.8.gz)

This issue is related to:

• Network problems
• [ x] Installing a library
• Publishing a library
• The command line gem
• Other

Here are my current environment details:

Since you mentioned three platforms, and assuming you have 2.3.7 on all, it looks like a network issue. I hate to ask but can you browse to:
https://api.rubygems.org/

I'm experiencing this issue:

 Could not find a valid gem 'cocoapods' (>= 0), here is why:
