We'll be ordering some take-away (Thai or Indian) so bring some cash for that.

The Format

This will be similar to a mini code retreat. We'll be tackling Conway's Game of Life in pairs in 3 sessions of 45mins each.

• The intention is provide an environment for deliberate practice outside of the pressures of work (deadlines, pressure etc)
• The problem is too big to solve in 45mins, so your focus should be on writing the best possible code in the time
• A TDD/BDD approach is strongly encouraged
• At the end of the 45mins, stop working on the problem and delete the code
• We'll do a quick 5-10 min discussion of learnings, etc between sessions
• For the next session we'll swap pairs and start again
