What

Reworks the top of profile/README.md (everything above ## Start here) to front-load search-friendly keywords and add a 3-bullet TL;DR. All sections from ## Start here downward are preserved verbatim.

Before (line 1): # Runcycles — Rein in autonomous chaos ⚡️
After: # Runcycles — Runtime budget and action authority for AI agents

The opening is now:

  • A keyword-rich H1 (matches "AI agent governance", "runtime authority", "action authority")
  • A bold one-paragraph summary that names the integration surface (Python/TypeScript/Rust/Spring/MCP/Claude Desktop/Cursor/Windsurf)
  • A 3-bullet TL;DR (What / Who / Why) to give a fast read for anyone landing on the org page
  • The same "Start with X · Protocol · Server · Demo" link strip as before, plus a proper runcycles.io link instead of the old broken runcycles.github.io/docs

Why

The org profile README is the page anyone sees when they:

  • click runcycles from any of the (now-merged) repo READMEs
  • find the org via GitHub search
  • arrive from social posts that link the org

The previous opening ("The production runtime for the Cycles protocol") only resonates with someone who already knows what Cycles is. The new opening earns the click for visitors who don't.

Scope

  • 1 file changed: profile/README.md
  • Lines 1–22 of the old content replaced with the new H1 + TL;DR + link strip
  • All sections ## Start here, ## Why Runcycles exists, ## What is Cycles?, the manifesto, etc. are preserved exactly
  • No removed examples, no removed repo links, no removed manifesto content

Continuation of the SEO/discoverability pass that just landed across the org (cycles-protocol, cycles-server, cycles-server-admin, cycles-spring-boot-starter, cycles-client-python, cycles-client-typescript).
