Adds Minimap Greenscreen plugin.

  • What it does: Draws a chroma-key green overlay over the minimap so streamers can replace it with a webcam (or other source) in OBS/Streamlabs using a green-screen filter.
  • Visual-only: No gameplay automation, no input simulation, no interaction with the game beyond drawing an overlay. Compliant with Jagex third-party client guidelines.
  • Repo: https://github.com/Ezra-Black/minimap-green-plugin

Anything that might be wanted here or changed? I see that there is another green screen plug in but couldnt get ahold of the creator to try and merge things. This one specifically just affects the mini map, more so for streamers etc like oda and torvesta to utilize.

That's brutal. We need more maintainers. let me know if there is a pathway towards helping, in the meantime I will keep trying to make meaningful plugins. Cheers.

In reality we just need less/no AI submissions.

Alright. I'll rewrite it without AI. Simple.

There will be no difference in your time to take to review no?

But I respect your stance.

I tend to utilize it side by side while developing. Getting old!

The statement was only meant as a minor jab at you, the point still stands that the plugin-hub queue is just filled with AI submissions, which is the reason why the humans reviewing, are falling behind.

I know I know. I Jest myself, hence the "I'll remake it in your honor" joke.

But agreed, all jokes aside the amount of code that is being fed up the system due to AI, is alarming. I never went through the repo until you brought awareness to it.

Most aren't even passing checks and leaving PRs open 😭

Also, this can be a hamper to "test" without using streamlabs etc. so for visuals sake here is what the plugin accomplishes image

Let me know if I can just (and if you'd rather it, as I believe it might do better just visual wise to be within its configs) to fork off of @Trevor159 greenscreen plugin or to just add the whole functionality in there itself.

It wouldn't take but 30 minutes if we sat down.

Hopefully Trevor sees this and we can get that going.

added better borders, configs.

@Ezra-Black you are welcome to make a pr to my branch or even take over the whole plugin yourself if you want.

@Trevor159 if it's something that you are willing to let me take some responsibility to maintain, I would love to extend the functionality. Let's chat sometime when we get the chance. I went ahead earlier and played with the code merge in local and made things pretty quickly and seamless.
It might be the best path forward for code hygiene to have the work just together functionality wise from a Runelite perspective!

no need to work together or sync on anything, just make a pr taking over the plugin and I will approve.

@Trevor159 felt that. Built out here: Trevor159/runelite-external-plugins#48

@Ezra-Black edit this PR to point to your repo if you want to take over ownership/maintenance

This change corresponds with the changes and updates that change maintainer of the codebase to @Ezra-Black & Implement the Minimap Greenscreen code + the greenscreen oringal code into one project.

Closing this. I merged everything over, changed the URL direction and the packets for runelites plugin hub to point to the fork etc. Ive created with the additions and merging of the code. PR + moving conversation here: #11077
