I'm requesting to take over the development of the Bank Memory plugin by @Lazyfaith.

It has not seen active development for close to 2 years now, has 4 open PRs which haven't even been answered to and many more issues ignored. I've requested collaborator access a week ago in this PR.

@Lazyfaith Hey, just checking in to give you an opportunity to intervene in this plugin takeover.
Thanks!

Hey there! This last year and couple months especially have been quite busy to me and I indeed haven't been playing OSRS. I personally would like to manage the plugin, it is something I'm fairly proud of as it's fun and probably the most widely used piece of software I've written (all my work stuff is used in businesses), but at the same time I also understand if you guys think it would be better to give it to someone else.

I do have the week off work so I can make time to push some commits I wrote months ago but never got around to publishing, and I'll be able to look at PRs and other stuff in there.

Hey, as I mentioned in the PR where I requested collaborator access, I totally understand that sometimes life throws you a curveball and you gotta focus somewhere else, we all have lives outside of OSRS. And to be 100% clear, my goal here is not to take away something you worked for and definitely deserves to be proud of, nor to push you into committing time you might not have.

That being said, the plugin really could use some more attention. I'm totally fine dropping the takeover if you plan on coming back and being active again. But, if not, I would appreciate if you could at least make me (or anyone else active, really) a collaborator on the current repository so it stays under your umbrella but development can continue. Is that something you'd be comfortable with?

Let me know what you think.

It's up to the original author really. If the author does not want to cede ownership of the plugin then we'll need to close this out, and you can work out potentially becoming a collaborator/getting access in private discussions or over on the repo.

Yes, I apologize if my reply implied otherwise. As I said, not trying to take over someone else's work against their will, just wanted to the plugin to keep seeing active development and benefiting the community.

@Lazyfaith JFYI we do not really force takeovers -- so since you've indicated that you want to keep maintaining I'll close this.
