The request payload should have matched the payload structure of the response, where a `crate` wrapper property is used. This change adjusts the API accordingly.

The request payload should have matched the payload structure of the response, where a
cratewrapper property is used. This change adjusts the API accordingly.This is technically a breaking change, but since the API is new, has not been used yet, and hasn't even been deployed to production, I guess this is fine 😅
