RustPress v0.1.0-alpha

WordPressをRustで完全に書き直したCMSの最初のアルファリリースです。
The first alpha release of RustPress — WordPress rewritten in Rust.

Highlights

  • WordPress 6.9 compatibility target — same database schema, same REST API
  • 97%+ pixel parity with Twenty Twenty-Five theme (verified via Selenium E2E tests)
  • 74-185x faster than PHP WordPress on homepage response time
  • Full REST API (WP v2 compatible) — posts, pages, media, users, categories, tags, comments
  • Drop-in database compatibility — point at an existing WordPress database with SKIP_MIGRATIONS=true

What Works

  • All WordPress content types (posts, pages, categories, tags, authors, comments)
  • Template hierarchy (single, page, archive, search, 404, date, category, tag, author)
  • RSS feed, XML sitemap, robots.txt
  • JWT authentication + bcrypt/Argon2 password hashing
  • Page caching (moka, sub-ms cache hits)
  • Docker Compose setup

Known Limitations (Alpha)

  • Admin dashboard (wp-admin) not yet implemented
  • Write operations via frontend not yet available
  • Plugin system in early stages
  • Advanced Gutenberg blocks not fully rendered

Getting Started
