Hi @SergioBenitez,
Not sure whether these changes are desired or interesting, but it annoyed me that there were a few warnings when building from source. I tried to address them using the least changes I could.
I'm unable to run the entire test suite due to some issue with libmysqlclient (brew/macos issues). Would it be possible to use CI on this PR, or should I spin up a VM or something to run all the tests?
