Document the fitted grid, and scrolling along the song A song arrives gridded now, so Mixing stems says what the number beside Auto-warp means, that the fit listens to the kick rather than to the whole kit, and that it says "no fit" rather than making a tempo up. Setting the grid by hand no longer asks anyone to find the last downbeat of a song they have not gridded yet. It asks for a count — one, two, four or eight bars — and the page says plainly that the second click does not have to be accurate to the millisecond, because the two clicks say which beat was meant and mix[flow] measures the tempo itself from there. Also: a plain scroll moves along the song once you are zoomed in, and the lanes now carry their stem's colour so you find the bass by its colour rather than by counting rows.
