[Feature Request]: Bulk delete/remove option of many filtered e-mails

Feature Description

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for this wonderful piece of software and all the work that has gone into it.

Foreword

I have already come across the request #218, which would cover my topic, but has a slightly different focus with the filter extension.
That's why I created this request, but I fully understand if it should be closed as a duplicate.

Use case

I have 1-2 private mailboxes, but with several million emails from the past 20 years.
Now there are emails of which I have 40k+, where I want to say that they can all go.
Currently, however, I can only do this in 150 groups and have to work through them individually.
The fact that the filter page resets after each deletion in terms of selection mode and number of emails displayed is, of course, also suboptimal

Proposed Solution

In my case, it would be perfectly sufficient for me to have an option to delete all emails that match the filter with one job.

Therefore, my first thought at this point would be that instead of making major changes to the structure or behavior of the filter page, all that is needed is to enable another type of action that takes the filter currently in use, converts it into a job, and deletes all emails that match the filter in the background

Hey. Since 2 days Mail-Archiver-User and i have the same wish - delete some old eMails, but have to do it in 150-Mail-Groups.
Would like to have a feature to "select all emails" which are filtered.

I clicked on "Auswahlmodus" (german translation) and can't bulk delete everything i found.

It appears we are limited to 150 items at a time for bulk deleting from webUI. How can we delete more or all for a search job results?

The maximum number of selections can be defined in Docker Compose. See selection settings in setup.

Hi @s1t5, thanks for your advice!
I've running Mail-Archiver on Unraid (Docker) and added the Env-Variable "Selection__MaxSelectableEmails" with Value "500".

After i restart the container, i still can only select max. 250 items:

What i do wrong? Is 250 items the max. value? I'm running Mail-Archiver 2603.1.

Edit: It would also be helpful, if i could show more than 150 items on a single page. If i want to delete ~3000 Mails, i would have to select them on 20 pages. Its okay - maybe, a feature request for comfort. Or do i use it wrong?

Just tried deleting 12000 emails, but after selecting about 11500, the select all button was not working in that it did not select all messages on the page. At page 80, it had only selected 11988 messages. I then got an error message HTTP 400 when trying to delete the messages. Trying smaller batches, ie 150 messages at a time works fine.

It would be great if we could get can update on this. I need to delete about 40.000 emails that are duplicates among 70 email accounts. Would be great if I can do that in one go, instead of 150 at a time.

I thought of a button delete beside search which deletes all matches of the filter.

It has not been implemented yet, but it's at the top of the To-Do list because it is a highly requested feature!
