Automatically match account when importing

I have lots of single eml files and some mboxes that I'd like to import into mail-archiver. It already works very well, so thank you 🙂

However, my files combine several accounts, but mail-archiver needs the correct assignment to see whether it's incoming or outgoing. It would be very nice if mail-archiver could automatically compare them with the configured accounts and choose the right account.

I could implement automatic assignment here without too much effort, but the problem is that not every email in a mailbox has the corresponding mailbox address in the sent or received field. This is the case, for example, with BCC receipts or previous imports of emails from external or old mailboxes. In this case, automatic assignment would not work for all emails. A kind of fallback import mailbox would therefore have to be provided, in which the remaining emails that cannot be assigned would end up.
The In/Out flag is less problematic here, as I can resolve the assignment on the one hand via the account name (which would then be omitted) and on the other hand by comparing the source folder (would work with EML, but not with MBox).

I don't yet know whether automatic assignment would cause more confusion than benefit here due to the concerns described above.

I'll share my perspective: I'd like to archive all "my" mail in one place, even though I've had several different mail accounts. To me, the difference in the address is insignificant. But since mail-archiver is based on accounts, I'd rather do it correctly.

Maybe the better solution is to have a concept for grouping different accounts into one. Then I could import a load of emails into such a "group" and mail-archiver will try to use the addresses of the configured accounts or fall back to a default account of this group.
Seeing as it's not unusual to change your address, this could be quite a useful feature.
