Only syncing certain labels/folders #354

I have huge mailboxes, so it would be a great solution to be able to select only the folders I want; the customer could then move the messages to the appropriate folder (the one they want to archive) themselves. |

Hey, I also prefer white-listing more than black-listing. |

Under accounts, there is a nifty way to load all available folders. Of course, there is also the exclude option. I think one way to address your request would be to change this up, so that the white tags, by default, all show under an INCLUDE grouping. However, then have an EXCLUDE grouping where you can just take a tag from the INCLUDE and drag into the EXCLUDE. You may need a third option though for newly created folders/labels called maybe UNSPECIFIED or something, where you can flag if you want to automatically INCLUDE or EXCLUDE newly created folders. (Of course, you can always drag them into INCLUDE or EXCLUDE if it makes sense). So, in your case, your UNSPECIFIED folder would be set to NOT include by default, and you would just have the tags you want to INCLUDE in that respective grouping and call it a day ;) I was just thinking about that type of implementation idea, because I am also wanting some flexibility to ORDER and specify preference. For example, if an email has TWO tags, currently I believe Mail Archiver just dumps the email into the first one, and omits the second. So, if you have SENT emails that your sort into labels, such as with Gmail, you would see the email under SENT but not in the other folder. |
Uh oh!

Hi All
What is the trick to syncing only certain folders?
I know I can exclude folders but I want to only sync certain folders. Do I exclude all mail or something?
Thank you!
