[Feature]: MariaDB support?

Is your feature request related to a problem?

I am aware that this might be a wide shot but I still have to ask the question since nobody did so far. Any plans on supporting MariaDB?

Support MariaDB.

Additional context

I am a small home user self-hosting a couple of apps. So far MariaDB has been serving me fine for multiple applications. Besides my inertia of not wanting to move, at least some applications have better MariaDB support and I am not two keen on having two DBs ;-)
