File storage location

I installed this through truenas, pointed both data and postgres data to a folder on my nas but I don't see any location where the backed up emails are being stored. I want to sync the data with my off site backup.

Data storage is solely handled by the database. Therefore, the database should be backed up accordingly; see:

Backup & Restore Documentation
