Shell-Based-Debian11-Stack-Config

This repository contains a Bash script for the automated installation and configuration of the following components on a Debian 11 operating system.

Requirements

Operating System and Version

• Debian 11: The script has been developed and tested on Debian 11 and may require specific settings and dependencies for this OS.

Components and Versions

1. MQTT Broker (Mosquitto): Installs the version available as a package in Debian 11. Mosquitto serves as the MQTT broker for handling messages between clients.
2. PostgreSQL Database: Installs the version available as a package in Debian 11. PostgreSQL is a robust database management system used for data storage and processing.
3. Node.js: Installs the latest stable version to ensure compatibility and stable operation.
4. Node-RED 3.0.2 or newer: Node-RED provides visual programming to easily link various devices, APIs, and online services.

Installation and Setup

Please note that this script is intended to work with a submodule, which will not be publicly available. Therefore, the code is best used as a template, with this consideration in mind.

Usage as a Template

This script can be used as a template for your own Bash-based automated installation and configuration.
