MaraDNS 3.5.0037 packaging difference

When preparing MaraDNS 3.5.0037 update for Fedora I've noticed the archive is created differently.
Previous versions contained versioned directory, like maradns-3.5.0037/.
Latest version has just MaraDNS/ dir inside.

Is this expected? Previous way, with version embedded in the dir name, is more pleasant to work with.

That said, I am of the opinion it’s better to just apply patches by hand to MaraDNS 3.5.0036 for the Fedora .rpm file. The other changes (mqhash, etc.) don’t affect normal MaraDNS operation.

Note that the official MaraDNS 3.5.0037 tarball will, if compiled, have the version be “git-52424160d5”.

I’ve made a Fedora specific tarball which will correctly make the version 3.5.0037 for MaraDNS, but makes the Deadwood version “github” (ugh):

To fix the deadwood version number, extract that tarball, enter the MaraDNS-3.5.0037 directory, then:

echo '#define VERSION "3.5.0037"' > deadwood-github/src/version.h
