[Bug]: Widget refactor needed

Bug Description

The battery widget on my screen only updates when I make it larger)shorter by resizing it. After making the change, it correctly shows my current battery level.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Widget pinned on the homescreen
2. No refreshing

Expected Behavior

Refreshes consistently

I had to use bitmap rendering for the widget content. It seems to be very problematic with auto-re render as I had to manually make it update. I'll look into a way of re-doing the entire widget feature but with xml to see if that's better
