[Bug]: AppLock not locking after screen off

Bug Description

When I unlock an app monitored by AppLock, it doesn’t lock again when the screen turns off (default behavior).

If I set a timeout, it works as expected.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Activate AppLock and select an app (Auto lock delay = None)
2. Open that app and unlock on Essentials overlay
3. Turn off screen
4. Turn on device and reopen the same app
5. App remains unlocked (should be locked)

Expected Behavior

Apps should be locked again when turning screen off.

Hi! Is this when the app kept open in the foreground?

Is so, I am looking into some fixes for this.

I’m afraid this also happens when the locked app is removed from Recent apps.

I’ve tried force-stopping the app in case it triggered something in Essentials, but it doesn’t work.

Once I turn off the screen, any app that had already been unlocked remains unlocked (as long as "Auto lock delay" = None).

Ohhh when auto lock delay is none, that might be something I overlooked as I wanted to remove the default 1 min timer for screen off auto lock. I will take a look into this. Thanks for the report!
