Thank you for choosing EasyQSO. This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how your data is handled when you use the EasyQSO iOS application. Our core philosophy is simple: Your data belongs to you.

2. Data Collection and Storage

EasyQSO is a locally-run application. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information, contact logs (QSOs), or any other data to our servers or any third-party servers.

  • All your QSO records, callsigns, operator names, and custom remarks are stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework.
  • The application does not require you to create an account or log in.

3. Location Data

EasyQSO includes an interactive map feature to help you pick QTH locations and calculate Grid Squares.

  • If you grant the app permission to access your device's location, this data is used strictly locally to fill in your current geographical coordinates for logging purposes.
  • We do not track your location in the background, nor do we send your location data to any external servers.

4. Data Export and Backup

You have full control over your data. EasyQSO allows you to export your logs in ADIF or CSV formats. These exported files are generated locally on your device and can be saved to your iOS "Files" app or shared via Apple's standard share sheet at your sole discretion.

5. Third-Party Services and Analytics

EasyQSO is an open-source application (GPLv3). We do not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or crash reporting tools that quietly collect user behavior data.

6. Children's Privacy

Our application does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any data at all, children's privacy is inherently protected.
