Sorry I've been really quiet but as I mentioned before, I'm now working for Mux on Video.js (and more). We've been working solidly for the last 12 months or so on getting v10 into shape through various betas and now we're almost ready for it to be GA 🎉. As a reminder, this is the culmination of work from the folks from Media Chrome (Wes and Christian), Vidstack (Rahim) and the OG folks from Video.js (Heff, etc) so this really is a player dream team 🏅.
I've been mainly focusing on the skins and UI side of things and I really hope you like our two initial skins (the default and a "minimal" skin shown below). Looks aside, this player is miles ahead of where Plyr is currently and feels like a solid evolution. We've focused heavily on reducing bundle size through tree shaking and composition, as well as supporting a range of media providers and proper support for streaming libraries such as HLS and Dash. We've even built our own lightweight playback library called SPF 🔥. There's so much more so I'd suggest checking out https://videojs.org.
We've aimed for feature parity with all the players we're hoping to get folks to migrate from. I've put together a basic migration guide here and I'd love any feedback or questions you have so I can update the guide and prioritize any features we missed.
