ninefoo

Note we will use for this project:

  • Java 1.7
  • Gradle for build, test, run
  • JUnit 4

Getting started with Gradle

  1. Download gradle binaries

    https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-2.4-bin.zip

  2. Add gradle to you environment path

    GRADLE_HOME/bin to your PATH environment variable

  3. Make sure it works

    Navigate to the git repo in your terminal.

    cd ninefoo/
    gradle build
  4. Set dev env

  5. Common gradle commands

  • gradle build will build and test the project.
  • gradle test
  • gradle run run the main application.
  • gradle tasks for all the possible thing you can do with gradle.
