SandBase now has a simpler open-source path for connecting coding agents to its model and API catalog.
SandBase CLI
SandBase CLI is an agent-first CLI and local stdio MCP bridge for Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, OpenCode, Kiro, Warp, Amp, Hermes, and other supported clients. It connects those agents to 2,000+ AI models and APIs for language, image, video, audio, search, data, and sandbox workflows.

Connect all detected supported clients:
After setup, agents receive six MCP tools and follow a predictable workflow:
discover -> inspect -> run. Configuration updates are ownership-aware, credentials are stored with restricted permissions, andunregisterremoves only SandBase-managed state. The wider open-source stack
The CLI complements SandBase Harness, our local-first agent runtime, and SandBase Skills, a collection of 88 installable workflows for research, social intelligence, marketing, and business tasks.
Try the read-only catalog first. If the CLI makes your agent workflow easier, star sandbaseai/cli so more builders can discover it, and share which client or model workflow should be improved next.
Disclosure: This is an official SandBase open-source update drafted with AI assistance and verified against the linked public repositories.
