Install SandBase CLI with Homebrew on macOS and Linux

SandBase CLI v0.1.17 now has an official Homebrew formula for macOS and Linux.

Install and connect

brew install sandbaseai/tap/sandbaseai-cli
sandbase connect

The formula installs the immutable v0.1.17 release archive and verifies its published SHA-256 before installation.

Inspect compatibility first

This command is read-only. It does not sign in, open a browser, or change client configuration.

sandbase catalog --json

The current catalog reports 25 AI client targets, including Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, OpenCode, Hermes, and OpenClaw.

The CI workflow runs Homebrew style and strict audit checks, installs the formula from source, and executes the 25-client catalog test on both operating systems.

The direct npx release command remains available in the README for users who do not use Homebrew.
