What's new in v0.2.1
Fixed

- Improved installer artwork to render crisply on Retina displays.
Nova 0.2.0
What's new in v0.2.0 - a new name, in-app browser, and more
Added
- The app is now Nova: new name, new icon, and a one-time migration banner for existing users.
- New in-app browser: navigate web pages directly inside Nova, with reload, cmd+click link tooltips, a link context menu, and a "Raw" view for local HTML files.
- Right-click context menu on the active file tab in the top bar for options.
- New list editor in the composer with content-aligned hanging indents.
- Sonnet 5 and Fable 5 added to the model picker, with live model list refresh.
- Onboarding now includes a "choose a folder" step before provider setup.
- Cost and Context footer usage tooltips added
Fixed
- Model picker no longer double-wraps the "Use the default model" label from the model CLI.
- Composer's High effort description clarified; placeholder text now recedes visually.
- Composer lists now clear fully on select-all + Delete (no more phantom indent).
- Input area: new solution for bullets wrapping correctly.
- Adjusted the styling for editing a previous chat message from you.
- Markdown table borders now match the composer's styling; WYSIWYG editor colors refined.
- Settings copy tightened.
0.1.5
What's new in v0.1.5
Added
- Clickable attachments. Attachment chips — both the staged ones in the composer and the ones inside a sent message — now open a centered preview modal: images inline, video and audio players, PDF, and syntax-highlighted text/code.
- Terminal links open on a plain click. No modifier key needed to open a URL from the terminal.
- More reliable Codex edit-and-continue rollback.
Fixed
- The app listens only on your own machine, not the local network.
- No more first-launch crash. A fresh install no longer crashes while setting up the starter project.
- Composer upload errors no longer stick around. The "file too large" (and other upload) error now clears when you switch chats, attach another file, send a message, or click elsewhere.
- Terminal polish. Scrollbar now matches the file viewer; fixed the bottom clipping and a stray black bar.
0.1.4
What's new in v0.1.4
Added
- Drag and drop files and folders from Finder into the file tree to import them — drop onto a folder to import there, or onto empty space for the project root. Folders come in with their full contents.
- Paste files and folders copied in Finder straight into the file tree (⌘V or right-click Paste), including multiple items at once.
- Select multiple files and folders in the tree (Shift-click for a range, ⌘-click to toggle) and cut, copy, copy-path, or delete them together.
- File-tree keyboard shortcuts: ⌘C copy, ⌘X cut, ⌥⌘C copy path, ⌘⌫ delete.
- Drop a folder onto the chat to attach everything inside it.
- "Reset all" in Settings → Advanced wipes every project, chat, and setting back to a fresh install (your files on disk are left untouched).
Changed
- ⌘V in the file tree now pastes into the selected or hovered folder instead of always the project root.
- Markdown lists render with their bullets and numbers aligned to the text and tighter spacing, in both chat and the file editor; the file editor's list editing (indent/outdent, bullet and number styles) now matches the chat composer.
0.1.3
What's new in v0.1.3
Added
- Chats now remember the model you last used and restore it when you reopen them.
Fixed
- The message-edit box now has rounded corners matching the composer.
