Hi! Could you help me with how to add a file to a zip and encrypt this zip? I've opened all the settings and tried everything I could think of, but I couldn't find it.

Hi @Byber-Byber , when you save a new archive, there's the "Options" button in the Save As panel which leads to the encyrption settings. Does that help?

Good to hear. But also tells me that this is probably not the best place. Too hidden. I had 4 prototypes before I implemented this to figure out where to place this because I figured already that this shouldn't jump into ones face, but also not totally get lost. Maybe I need to rethink that. I'll see if others run into a similar issue and then consider a change. Thanks again for the confirmation.

I'm not a developer:) . I switched from Windows five months ago and was looking for something similar to 7-Zip. The only option I could find was Keka, which works with 7-Zip files. I have to protect a lot of files sent to clients, which is why adding a password is an issue for me.

Actually, 7-Zip was the simplest and fastest: right-click on a file, select 'Add to Zip', and a window pops up with all the settings on one small page.

Right now, I have to open an app, go to 'New archive', add files, save as, options, password. Is there a chance to change it?:)
