Perhaps this is already supported, but it would be great to be able to make an object (image or text box) the bottom-most layer. This is an issue for me because I have images already on a PowerPoint template and to my knowledge there is no way to make them permanently at the top within the template. Granted, I could add them sequentially in my python code, but it's a bit of a pain.
