Operating system dependencies

Apologies for raising the issue – but I got a non-delivery report when sending an email to the Google group.

this is a noob question I am sure, however I am wondering if there are any operating system dependencies for python-pptx? I ask bcause I am considering using it as part of either an Azure function or in AWS lambda, and it suddnely occured to me that Office 365 only runs in Windows or on Mac.

Will python-pptx still function on a linux o/s when office isn't installed?

The python-pptx package does not require Office installation. (It works based on the underlying .xml files of the presentation.)
I use it in linux environment without MS Office with no issues.
