v1.0.2

Choose a tag to compare

@scbudgetweb scbudgetweb released this 19 Oct 15:56

A tidier approval experience in CC Chat.

Fixes

  • One approval prompt at a time. The "Waiting for your approval" bar pinned above the message box now only appears when the approval is scrolled out of view. Its Review button takes you back to it. Before, you'd see the bar and the approval in the conversation at the same time.

Upgrading

Upload the new zip over the old one, then click Re-check & repair in Tools › Claude Code. Reload any open builder tab.

v1.0.1

Choose a tag to compare

@scbudgetweb scbudgetweb released this 19 Oct 09:48

Answer Claude's questions in CC Chat, plus fixes to how CC Chat displays in narrow layouts.

New

  • Answer Claude's questions in CC Chat. When Claude asks you something, you now get a question card:

    • single-choice options or tick boxes, with each option's description
    • an "Other" box for your own answer
    • Send answers or Skip

    The bar pinned above the message box says Claude is asking and jumps to the card. Before, these questions showed as a plain approval, so Claude was told you hadn't answered.

Fixes

  • Narrow panels: CC Chat's top bar stays on one tidy line in the "Split beside" and floating-window layouts.
  • Tables: Markdown tables in CC Chat are readable. LiveCanvas's editor styles were darkening them.
  • Image results: they no longer print Claude Code's [Image: source: …] placeholder line under the image.
  • Template library: a folder holding a single template lists that template, not the folder itself.

Upgrading

Upload the new zip over the old one, then click Re-check & repair in Tools › Claude Code. Reload any open builder tab and start a new CC Chat.

v1.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@scbudgetweb scbudgetweb released this 09 Oct 18:26

LC Claude Bridge 1.0 connects the LiveCanvas page builder to Claude Code on your Mac. It takes a WordPress site from brief to launch: build, check, migrate, optimise and hand over, using your Claude subscription.

What's in 1.0

Working in the builder

  • CC Chat and CC Terminal tabs in the LiveCanvas code editor. CC Chat has streaming replies, diffs, approvals, model and mode switching, history and usage meters.
  • Claude edits the open, unsaved page, its Global CSS and its Global JS through LiveCanvas's own editor, so LiveCanvas's undo and Save work as normal.
  • Point at it: click an element in the preview, or drag a box around an area, to ask about it.
  • Checkpoints: roll the builder back to before any reply.

Checking its work

  • Screenshots and inspect: lc_screenshot at any width, and lc_inspect for rendered markup and the CSS rules that apply.
  • lc_responsive_check: layout problems at 390, 768, 1200 and 1440px, shown in one outlined image.
  • lc_lint: checks against the site's own design system: tokens, the spacing scale, headings, alt text and class typos.
  • lc_qa: accessibility (axe-core), SEO, performance, links, forms and site basics, with a launch mode and launch-report.md.

Building the site

  • Site-level changes: pages, header and footer, dynamic templates, design tokens (with Picostrap recompile), the section library and media. Every change is previewed, then applied and audited.
  • Activity and undo: every site-level change with a one-click undo.

Starting points

  • HTML templates: register your template folders once, and Claude scans, converts (Bootstrap 4, Tailwind, Bulma and Foundation to Bootstrap 5) and rebuilds from them. It imports their assets into your child theme and compares each section with the original.
  • Migration: crawl an old site, rebuild its pages with their SEO and images, and export a redirect map.

Images

  • The pipeline: audit, WebP and AVIF conversion with every reference rewritten, crops, alt text written by looking at each image, and Openverse stock photos.

Commands

  • /kickoff, /from-template, /migrate, /responsive, /images, /qa, /launch and /handover, in CC Chat's / menu or any Claude Code session in the site folder.

Safe by design

  • Local only: it runs on a local Mac install and refuses anything else.
  • Bound to one install: the connection is tied to this Mac, folder and address.
  • Migrated copies: these switch to a one-click cleanup mode.
  • Outlives the plugin: everything it builds lives in WordPress or your child theme, so the site keeps working after you delete the plugin.

Install

Download the zip below. In WordPress go to Plugins › Add New › Upload, then Tools › Claude Code › Connect. See the README for requirements.

v0.5.0: First release

Choose a tag to compare

@scbudgetweb scbudgetweb released this 09 Oct 09:31

First public release of LiveCanvas Claude Bridge, an unofficial WordPress plugin that connects the LiveCanvas page builder to Claude Code on your Mac.

Highlights

  • CC Chat tab: a VS Code-style Claude Code chat inside the LiveCanvas code editor.
    • Replies stream in as Markdown, and every action shows as a tool row, with diffs for edits.
    • Allow or Deny Claude's actions right in the row, and Stop a reply at any time.
    • Attach images by pasting, dragging and dropping, or capturing the preview.
    • History lets you resume earlier conversations.
    • Context, cache and plan-usage meters show how much you're using.
  • CC Terminal tab: the full Claude Code terminal, next to Global JS.
  • Live editing: Claude edits the open, unsaved builder: page HTML scoped to your selection, Global CSS and Global JS. Changes go through LiveCanvas's own editor, so the preview, undo and History keep working. Nothing is saved until you say so.
  • Rollback: a checkpoint is saved before each reply's first change. "↺ Restore to before this" puts the builder back, and rewinds files Claude edited too.
  • Multi-site: one background service on your Mac serves every connected site, and each site only reaches its own builder.
  • Safe to migrate: the plugin only runs on a local Mac install, and the connection is tied to this Mac, folder and URL. A migrated copy switches itself off and offers one-click removal of itself and its leftover files.

Install

  1. Download lc-claude-bridge-0.5.0.zip below.
