It's also possible that it's related to the dependency-injection Package, but it seems to me that setAlias with empty id is not working correctly anymore.

Thanks for the information. I was able to reproduce it myself. It seems to be indeed related to the empty id, which is a change that is introduced with Symfony 7.4. I took your suggestion to set the alias only when an id is set.

Release as patch version v7.12.1.
