2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 incorrectly recognized as gas vehicle

Description

The app is not correctly recognizing my vehicle as an EV.

• Vehicle: 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5
• Expected behavior: The app should recognize the vehicle as an EV and display the EV range and battery percentage.
• Actual behavior: The app recognizes it as a gas car and shows a gas range with 0% fuel, instead of EV details.

Thanks for the info! It looks like this is because BetterBlueKit treats drvDistance with type: 0 as gas based on some other gas car responses I've seen. My Ioniq 5 uses type: 2 to signify electric--looks like this is a case where Hyundai gives some bad info. But, we can work around it!

Ah. I think from here, the easiest solution is just to log out of your account (delete it in settings) then log back in. The gas range part is sticking around because Hyundai fairly often does not send range info, and I don't want the range to just disappear.
